When you choose ELOS you can feel safe. All our Laser and IPL systems have a unique securitysystem that nobody else in the world has. It is called Active Dermal Monitoring and the risk for side-effects like burns and hyperpigmentation is reduced. Before and during every pulse we measure the temperature in the depth of your skin, this is done every millisecond. Should the temperature be raised dramatically the system will shut off automatically, an incredibly secure feature for you. Furthermore the wielder gets constant information on the display of the machine so that he/she knows the right power is used.
Every wielder (physician, nurse or skintherapist) is educated in ELOS and every treatment foregoes a thorough consultation. In this consultation you will be asked relevant questions that are relative to your results and if you can be treated. Furthermore test pulses are performed on your skin with several different energies in order to make sure your skin responds in the right way. A few days after consultation your treatment can begin.
Syneron has raised the demands on the education needed in order to use ELOS. The lowest level of education for ELOS are skintherapists that have substantial knowledge of the skins anatomy and are therefore allowed to handle our IPL system. Doctors and nurses have medical knowledge and are authorized which Syneron has set as a requirement in order to use our lasers. In Sweden the States Radiationprotection Institute (SSI) has the global responsibility regarding IPL and Laser. As a fact of the matter is the SSI has since a few years back allowed anyone to perform treatments with common IPL and Laser-systems.
